Homocysteine
Homocysteine is an amino acid that plays a role in forming the lipid plaques that clog blood vessels. It's newest use is as a screen for people at high risk for heart attack or stroke; for example, it may be useful in patients who have a family history of coronary artery disease but no other known risk factors.

- Wear a short sleeved shirt or a shirt with sleeves that roll up easily.
