Access the St. Vincent Healthcare Laboratory Test Directory.
St. Vincent Healthcare welcomes clients throughout Montana and northern Wyoming. Through the extensive test menu offered clients have access to the highest levels of clinical and anatomic laboratory service and expertise.
Founded in 1898 by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth, St. Vincent Healthcare (Billings) has been serving patients throughout the region for over 100 years. Today, St. Vincent Healthcare maintains a high level of dedication to patients, physicians and other health care providers throughout Yellowstone County and beyond.
The laboratory at St. Vincent Healthcare provides locally-based, rapid response testing around the clock, from its state-of-the-art facility in Billings. The laboratory is CAP, Joint Commission, and AABB accredited, as well as being accredited by the State of Montana and CLIA.

STAT Testing
St. Vincent Healthcare offers stat testing. When a test is ordered stat, the laboratory staff responds immediately, interrupting normal testing protocols to perform the stat test(s). STAT orders are assumed to stem from a life-threatening situation, and accordingly, all stat results are communicated to the ordering physician or designated representative. Please order stat testing for appropriate situations only.
Critical Values
Specific tests are designated with "critical values." When results for such tests qualify as "critical" values, the appropriate physician or designated representative is phoned immediately.
Patient Reports
Laboratory reports are delivered according to the needs of the client. Options include: office printers, fax, mail, and courier delivery.

Patients should be directed to the laboratory on weekends, holidays, and after hours.
The laboratory serves clients around the clock. Appointments are not necessary; however, please call for patients arriving after 7:00pm.
